Untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak is finally here

The iPhone Dev Team today announced the release of an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1. This is the first untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.0.1, unlike the earlier one which required the jailbreak process to be repeated every time the device was reboot. Released by an iOS security researcher who goes by the name @pod2g, the hack works on all iOS devices but those running on Apple’s A5 processor (iPhone 4S and iPad 2).
